Parrywinkle #2

Happy summer!

I have come to realize that no matter how many times I set a goal to keep up on my blogging, it just does not happen…So, if you like to spontaneously read blog posts that are spontaneously and sporadically written, you’ve come to the right place!

I have also come to realize that I have probably written too many “update” posts.

Here’s another. Sorry, not sorry.

Really, the biggest update is that I have two babies now! My Hudson boy is now 4 months away from being a big 2 year old, and my second baby, Kayson, was born 3 months ago on March 28th, 2018.

Having to kids under 2 has been quite a challenge at times, but I am loving it! I love comparing my experiences with each of my boys and seeing how alike or different they are from one another.

Here are Kayson’s stats!

He was born at 21 inches long and weighed 8lbs and 7oz. Another big Parry boy, but not quite as big as Hudson was (21 1/2 inches long, weighing 9lbs 1oz).

The first three months with Kayson and Hudson have been a rollercoaster. I can’t even begin to describe the mom guilt I had the moment I had to leave for the hospital and knew Hudson was going to wake up without his parents for the following couple of days. The days the followed, I felt even more guilty when my first baby wanted nothing to do with my second, and I saw the smile fade from his precious little face when he saw me holding his brother. Since then, Hudson has made strides in getting to know his brother, and he is showing more and more interest in him. It melts my heart watching my babies get to know each other, and I can’t wait to see their relationship develop over time!

That’s really the biggest update!

I will soon be writing about my Kayson’s birth, but in the meantime, here are some photos of our new Parrywinkle!
